I absolutely adore my Brand Ambassador program. I started it in 2019 and had so much success and fulfillment from the process and the ladies I had on my team. I now do it every year with increasing success. I get asked frequently how I run my program so here is my take on it. It will always be a process I’m refining but I have so much fun with my team every year, I hope you will too!

Brand Ambassadors promote the empowering message of boudoir by partaking in several sessions over the course of their membership and sharing the experience with their friends. These people are confident, fun and passionate about body positivity.
They are your biggest fans and sometimes best past clients. They are the babes who have followed you forever and been a silent support and decide finally that this is how they want to experience boudoir. This is my process of how I run and organize my Brand Ambassador team! Feel free to customize it to suit your business.[/vc_column_text][vc_message]I use Dubsado for all of my CRM needs. They have a beautiful questionnaire and contract interface that offers massive customization.
If you follow my process, you will need some way to generate a questionnaire and application process. You could also use email templates or another CRM.[/vc_message][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_column_text]
Send out a blast on social media, or wherever you reach your clients. This can also be through a newsletter, website or private group.
I post frequently about it across my popular platforms at whatever my peak time of activity for my viewers is.
Instagram is my go-to. I will post to my feed and story about it several times in a 1-2 week period.
Go through the applications and find the people who resonate the most with your brand and your message. I make my questionnaires a little deeper than surface level requiring thought into the answers in order to avoid people who simply want to rush the process. I want to know what these people think of boudoir and how it impacts their life.
I usually cap my team at around 10-15 people because for me that is the perfect number without overwhelming my schedule.
I send out emails to all of the ones I accept with links for them to complete the membership process. This includes links to the contract, invoice and model release. Once that is all complete I get their availability and away we go planning their first session.
The idea of the first session is to give them images for them to share if they haven’t already had a session with you so you will want to get them into your space or do a shoot with them asap.

I love to brainstorm with each individual Ambassador and create shoots they enjoy and are excited about. This is a fun way for me to include them in the creative process and step outside my comfort zone!

This covers my time, occasional hair and makeup, location shoots and any costs that arise during the course of the ambassador year.
Having a membership fee allows for only the really serious applications to actually follow through. It eliminates flakes and generally provides a group that seriously loves spreading the message of boudoir and are active and productive. Plus, it allows for me to offer more perks and fun activities through the year like ambassador parties and special shoots (ie smoke bombs, styled shoots, etc).
My membership fee is $235.[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”Do your Ambassadors earn money?”]Yes, they earn a commission on anyone who books and completes a boudoir session. I track this by a custom discount code for each Ambassador that goes through my booking form. Or the client will simply mention the Ambassador’s name in the initial email during the booking process.
Commission earnings are 10% of whatever Collection is sold and I do not cap earnings. I pay them in the form of a check whenever the session is completed.[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”Do you Ambassadors have discounts to hand out?”]Yes. I give Ambassadors $100 gift vouchers to hand out to friends or anyone they talk to. These vouchers can also be digital in the form of dropping their name in the inquiry email when going through the booking process.[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”Do you ever have Ambassadors sign on for a second year?”]Yes, in fact I sometimes ask a few of my Ambassadors to roll over into the following year depending on circumstances and demand. These babes are productive and add so much value to my life and my brand!
