I don’t share any of my clients photos unless they sign a model release allowing me to do so. Even if I’m allowed to share, I do not tag any of my clients on social media unless they explicitly state they want me to. I offer several different release options including: all rights, no rights, faceless or specific images chosen by you. You sign the release when you sign the contract but are more than welcome to change your mind after you see your final images too.
Bottom line? I want you to be comfortable with your privacy options! But I also LOVE when a client allows me to share because in doing so you show other women just like you the possibilities and the beauty of this experience.[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”How did you get into boudoir photography?” style=”arrow”]I used to photograph weddings! So a handful of my brides asked if I would photograph them and print an album as a wedding present for their significant others. I fell in love with the genre and I knew I eventually wanted to ONLY photograph boudoir. Years later, here I am! Passionate about how life changing this experience can be and photographing only boudoir out of my home. To see more of my story and boudoir philosophy, take a look here.[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”What if I don’t know how to pose?” style=”arrow”]Girl, I got you! I pose you every step of the way during your session. My photos may look natural and fluid but in reality I pose you down to where to place your hands and each strand of hair. I remind you to point your toes and always elongate!
I tell people boudoir is like a yoga session. You stretch and hold difficult poses and you most likely will be sore the next day!
Some of the poses may feel awkward but I promise they look amazing. The best way to go about your session posing? Relax, trust me, have fun and bring your confidence and personality!
You can read more about boudoir posing here.[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”What kind of retouching do you do?” style=”arrow”]The lighting in my studio is seriously the most flattering thing ever. Generally, I even out skin tons and remove any temporary blemishes such as acne, pressure points from clothing and bruises. Overall lighting and color correcting and removing distractions. Scars, stretch marks, cellulite, etc are all personal preferences and I always get your permission before editing anything like that. I DON’T make you thinner or help you out in the boob or butt department.
Tan lines are also something I don’t guarantee I can get rid of completely but I do minimize them as best I can.[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”Do you offer couples sessions?” style=”arrow”]YES. I love couples boudoir sessions! It is such a playful and sexy thing to do together. Great for a spicy date when you’re looking for something unique to do together. Create something sultry for your bedroom wall or print them in an album to pull out and look at together.[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”Do you take nude photos?” style=”arrow”]Yes! I absolutely love tasteful nude images. If this makes you nervous, I always offer this option at the end once you have your confidence going. You can always opt for a white sheet/implied nudity option as well but honestly, going nude and embracing yourself as you are is so empowering and liberating.
Looking for something more…erotic? You’ve come to the right place. I offer more risque session options for those looking to take the hotness up a level. Your comfort is ALWAYS a priority so communication on boundaries and expectations are very important in the planning process.[/vc_toggle][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_custom_heading text=”The Experience” font_container=”tag:h2|text_align:left|color:%235a9cb5″ google_fonts=”font_family:EB%20Garamond%3Aregular|font_style:400%20regular%3A400%3Anormal”][vc_toggle title=”What days of the week do you schedule sessions?” style=”arrow”]I schedule sessions Monday – Friday. Appointments begin at 11a.
Weekend sessions are an additional fee. They book up extremely quickly.[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”How quickly do you book up?” style=”arrow”]I book up about 1 month in advance. Clients usually book 2-3 months out or even up to a year in advance. I can usually accommodate most rush requests although I do not book any sessions within 2 weeks.[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”Will you travel to me for my boudoir session?” style=”arrow”]YES! I love traveling for boudoir. I did a Vegas boudoir marathon in Feb 2020 and I would absolutely love to go back or somewhere new. Why not ask your girlfriends if they want to join you and book a session too?
You can see all the details of past destination sessions and read about the perks of helping me fill a weekend in your city here.[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”How long is the boudoir experience?” style=”arrow”]The most popular Collection, the Deluxe Collection, takes about 2.5 hours. Hair and makeup generally takes about 1 hour. The shoot will vary between 1-2 hours depending on the Collection you booked.
I recommend taking the entire day off so you can prepare and come relaxed to your session. Afterwards, why not plan a date night or outing since you’ll be all done up![/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”Do I bring my own lingerie?” style=”arrow”]Yes. Generally, I recommend bringing your own outfits. I have an extremely small client closet that is available if you have something specific in mind.
Take a look at the Boudoir Boutique for easy outfit purchasing or inspiration!
I also offer this style guide when you book to help with planning and prep.[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”Can I bring a friend to my shoot?” style=”arrow”]Yes! Bringing a friend can be a fun addition to your session. Just make sure it’s someone who hypes you up and isn’t too critical. I want you to be able to relax and let your personality and confidence shine!
My studio policy is no significant others unless it is a couples session.[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”I’m older than most of your other clients, can I still book?” style=”arrow”]Absolutely. Age doesn’t matter! As long as you are at least 21, you are more than welcome to book a session. In my opinion, women should book a boudoir session at all different stages of life. Your body is always changing and that can be a beautiful and powerful thing.[/vc_toggle][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_custom_heading text=”Payment Questions” font_container=”tag:h2|text_align:left|color:%235a9cb5″ google_fonts=”font_family:EB%20Garamond%3Aregular|font_style:400%20regular%3A400%3Anormal”][vc_toggle title=”What is your pricing?” style=”arrow”]My Collections begin at $425 and go up from there. You can find pricing info by heading to the front page of the website.[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”Do you offer products?” style=”arrow”]I offer a small selection of high quality products to showcase your boudoir images. Contact me for gift cards in any amounts.[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”Do you offer any discounts or deals?” style=”arrow”]Occasionally I offer discounts and deals for my newsletter members. I require a $200 retainer and after that you can make payments in any amount, at any time, leading up to your session.
Square Capital and PayPal financing are also options you can look into.[/vc_toggle][/vc_column][/vc_row]
